02--German Red (Rocambole)

This rich, strong and very spicy garlic came to this country over a hundred years ago with German immigrants, and continues to flourish in colder areas of our country. A vigorous grower with purple and brown skin, this variety generally produces 8 or 9 good-sized cloves per bulb.

03--Purple Glazer (Glazed Purple Stripe)

One of the best baking garlic around.  You can look forward to eating this for up to 5 months.  Rich burgundy stripes on a smooth white skin, 8-10 cloves per bulb.

04--German White (Porcelain)

Nice sized porcelain hardneck bulbs with large solid cloves.  Full of flavor and easy to peal.  Grows well throughout most of the US, and really like cold northern winters.  Avg 5-7 cloves per bulb.

05--Siberian Red (Marbled Purple Stripe)

Hot and spicy and full flavored, grows milder in storage.  Huge bulbs with a stunning rich burgandy-purple skin, each containing about 6 easy to peel cloves.  Thrives in cold climates, a great choice for those in cold winter areas.  Stores well.

07--Music (Porcelain)

A very cold hardy, slightly spicy, incredibly flavorful garlic.  This one is one of the most popular types around.  Produces 4-6 LARGE, easy to peel cloves per bulb, with shiny white sheath.  Stores well.

08--Bogatyr (Marbled Purple Stripe)

If you like hot garlic, you'll love this one!  Bogatyr is one of the spiciest varieties around, and is a challenge for the palate.  Averages 6-10 huge cloves per bulb, and stores up to 7-8 months.

09--French (Rocambole)
Complex hot flavor and easy to peel.  Averages 6-8 cloves per bulb.  Late season harvest.  Stores 2-3 months.

10--Blanak (Rocambole)
Mid-season.  This spicy, vigorous, cold hardy Rocambole from Bulgaria produces elephant, pearly white heads with chunky cloves.  Blanak's cloves are covered with a shiny purple taupe colored skin that is easily peeled.  The flavor is fiery and lasting, great for roasting, salsa making, and adding zing to pickles.

11--Kettle River (Artichoke)
This softneck is our largest garlic, a great keeper, and is easy to grow in all climates.  Averages 8-15 cloves per head, and a medium hot flavor.  Stores well.

15--Oregon Blue (Artichoke)
An "artichoke" garlic that has proven to be hardy in the Northeast.  White wrappers with a tinge of blue 10-15 cloves per bulb.  Pleasant spicy flavor, raw or baked.  Stores well.
